CEO, Kate Brewster, chose Partners in Philanthropy as a capital campaign consultant to make their dream of "A New Home for Hope" become a reality.  Jonnycake Center for Hope purchased an old schoolhouse on Kersey Road in Peace Dale with the goal of transforming the space into a new food pantry, working kitchen, community meeting space and administrative offices.  Kate was an amazing fundraising partner with a "can-do" attitude.     

In approximately 18 months, Partners in Philanthropy delivered a campaign feasibility study and worked with Ms. Brewster on developing a campaign prospect list, provided hands-on solicitation coaching, and accompanied Kate on a number of charitable visits with the goal of securing philanthropic gifts to support construction costs.  In the end, Partners in Philanthropy helped Jonnycake surpass its fundraising goal raising over $1.6 million, allowing this amazing non-profit expand its capacity and offer hope and assistance to more neighbors in need.
