The Groden Network is well-known in Rhode Island and Massachusetts as the autism experts. Groden CEO, Michael Pearis, turned to the experts in the fundraising field when he contacted Partners in Philanthropy looking for help in planning a capital campaign. In strategizing with our team, we realized together that Groden was not yet poised to begin a Capital Campaign; however, they were ready for a fundraising overhaul.
We suggested Groden revitalize their grants activities and outreach with potential funders who are predisposed to supporting autism-related non-profit organizations. We engaged in a comprehensive grants prospect research exercise and suggested a plethora of opportunities for Groden. The results? New grants funded an electronic medical record database system, an equine therapy program, field trips, after-school activities, a new van, new exercise equipment, nursing station equipment, and general operating support.
We are pleased to share that Groden realized a significant return on their consulting investment securing a number of grants from first-time funders, with new charitable relationships ripe for stewarding for years to come.
